BYOK is $0 in Kaizen charges. Choose a supported provider and model, let that provider bill you directly, and use the same local manuscript rooms without consuming hosted monthly caps.
Your key lives in the browser except while it is used for the request. Remove it to return to the hosted allowance. Your manuscript, dictionary, marks, and history do not have to move.

Billing without the small print maze.
Local work remains yours across plan changes. Stripe handles the payment details and returns you to Kaizen when the checkout is complete.
What happens when I reach a monthly cap?
Only that named hosted action pauses until the first day of the next calendar month. Your local manuscript remains available, other uncapped actions keep working, and BYOK can continue immediately.
What happens to a per-app subscription when I choose Suite Pro?
Suite Pro covers all three apps for $30 a month, replaces matching per-app Pro subscriptions, and keeps each app's full Pro allowance. It does not divide one quota across the suite.
What if I cancel?
Paid access continues through the current billing period. Browser-local manuscripts, marks, dictionaries, and history remain yours, and Drive backups remain in the Drive you own.
Does BYOK use my hosted allowance?
No. BYOK traffic is billed by your chosen provider and does not consume Kaizen-hosted monthly caps. Your key lives in your browser except while it is used for the request.
How are payments handled?
Stripe handles accepted payment methods and full card details. Your full card number stays with Stripe while Kaizen receives the subscription status needed to open Pro.
Are backup and sync the same thing?
No. Every plan can create and restore a writer-owned Google Drive backup. Paid Pro paths add automatic sync so the working state can stay current without a manual backup step.
