Polished is not the same as yours.

Praxis revised an entire manuscript end to end. Twenty-one named agents across nine phases produced prose that was clean, coherent, and polished. It was too polished. The novel's rough texture, which carried part of its meaning, had been normalized into the voice of a competent article.

The lesson survived the machine. AI belongs where it can outclass us: holding a hundred thousand words in attention, noticing the pattern on page 412 that echoes page 38, remembering every promise a draft makes, and checking whether the book keeps it.

Every feature now passes one question before it ships: is this asking AI to do something it surpasses humans at? If the answer is no, the feature does not belong, however clever it looks.

Real writers rarely begin at a blank page. They begin buried in fragments, variants, scenes in four versions, contradictory notes, and a draft and a half spread across folders. Kaizen starts there.

Weaver works in threads. It gathers scattered material into a constellation, aligns variants paragraph by paragraph, and lets the writer choose what enters one considered weave.

Rewriter works in seams. It mends the weave chapter by chapter inside manuscript vision, editable intents, dictionary rules, held lines, and writer approvals. The draft a proposal cannot beat remains untouched.

R/W works in marks. It reads first, places findings on passages worth your attention, and offers a fix only when invited on a span the writer chooses.

Explain why something works in plain words and the suite structures the explanation as a scoped rule: this quirk is deliberate everywhere, that one belongs to a single character's dialogue, this repetition is the point.

Before a broad rule takes hold, the suite checks it against what has already been marked and exposes the blast radius. One lesson cannot silently swallow a hundred honest findings.

The dictionary travels. What the writer teaches in Weaver, Rewriter honors, and R/W uses during the next close reading.

Every promise has a check behind it. A rule the model is told to follow is also enforced by ordinary code that inspects the result, so disobedience is caught before delivery.

The author's text is the floor. However a pass goes wrong, the original stands untouched exactly as the writer left it.

The machine explains itself. A suppressed mark can name the taught rule that suppressed it. A kept original says why it remained. Important decisions do not happen silently.

Hosted work is charged on delivery. Work that never lands costs nothing, and resuming saved local work is free.

Kaizen means continuous improvement, practiced through passes rather than one dramatic transformation. The first draft sketches the book. The second pass begins the writing. Each later pass makes a smaller, more informed decision.

The tools were shaped against a real manuscript and the mistakes of the system that preceded them. Their purpose is to keep the resulting book unmistakably the author's, including the broken pieces the author chooses to keep.

Process v3.0 is the current method. Weaver, Rewriter, and R/W are the live bounded tools built from that judgment.

Weaver recovers the scene distributed across the pile. Rewriter makes a chapter proposal visible beside its source. R/W marks the passages worth your attention and learns when a pattern belongs.

The author writes. The AI notices. The author keeps the broken pieces.
